Coffee Confession
I have a confession, although not many of you know this, I am absolutely, outrightly, seriously, totally, completely a white mochaholic. This all started when Mama Julie brought me to my magandang Tita Reina’s coffee shop in ParkMerced, Cafe Reina. I was never a coffee drinker, but that day, I decided to try her white chocolate Mocha. It was pure heaven. I would go to Cafe Reina every single day if it wasn’t so far away. You should check her place out, great service, tranquil atmosphere, and beautiful people. Oh yeah, and she gives 10% discount to SF State University students, isn’t that awesome??

Anyway, so I was craving for white mocha on my way back from Skyline. So I thought I should revisit my new discovery, P-Town Coffee in Vallemar. Can you believe I was able to buy a large espresso for only 3.85 bucks, whereas if I go to Peet’s or Starbucks, that would have only been a medium cup. Well, I know they are commercial brands, but nonetheless… you get my point. So this was my second time at P-Town.

I did not enjoy my white mocha today. Don’t misunderstand, it wasn’t for the reason that P-Town failed to serve an adequate one, but mainly because of the immature middle school boys by-standing outside the P-Town trailer. Yes, P-Town is a trailer coffee shop, much like a Taco Truck, only bigger, and it does not move. I was minding my business when these meddlesome attention-seeking kids had to bother me—kept staring, saying hi, and waving their hands at me. It was all good until after I got my order and proceeded out of the shop. Whoever taught these children to say “Hey! Say bye, Toots!” to an older woman? Hello, I’m twice their age! Do they not know their manners? I won’t be coming back to P-Town, at least not for awhile, until I get over being disrespected by juvenile adolescents. Less expensive coffee is not worth the annoying presence of those middle schoolers.
